Transferring your existing website from another provider to FireStorm is done in just five easy steps. First of all you should know that applications like WordPress, Joomla and Drupal, but also PrestaShop and Magento are automatically recognized. You should also make sure that the databases are publicly accessible via port 3306.

Afterwards you simply log in to the web administration of FireStorm: Webadministration Login. Therefore you must be a FireStorm customer before you perform the website transfer. After that, you log in to Plesk: Plesk Login. Here you select the “Website Import” tile. Then fill out the form. You will need to enter the FTP access data and the domain name or FTP server of the website to be transferred. Finally, click “OK” and the system will transfer all data automatically.

How to transfer your email to FireStorm

Unfortunately, transferring your existing email address from another provider to FireStorm is not a five-step process. There are six steps necessary, but they are at least as easy as the website transfer.

First you have to log in to the web administration of FireStorm: Web Administration Login. Then you will be able to login to Plesk: Plesk Login. Now click on the “Mail Import” tile and fill out the form. You will need the login data of the old provider and can then insert the new login data for FireStorm. As soon as you have done this, click on “Show advanced options” and fill out the displayed fields. Finally confirm with “OK” and wait until the e-mails are transferred automatically. This can take more than an hour if you have a lot of emails in your account.
