FireStorm ISP GmbH places its servers in various data parks throughout Europe. The servers are subject to the Swiss Data Protection Act, the DSGVO Ordinance and all receive an IP address in Switzerland regardless of their location.
PEERING
The data centers are peered with various other providers at over 600 GBit/s and thus achieve the best performance for access from all over Europe and the world. In addition to Google and Facebook, a direct connection of over 200 Gbit/s is available to ensure that your website reaches the best place in the search engine. The peering to Dropbox, Cloudflare, Init7 each reach 10 Gbit/s or more. There are many other private peerings that are operated to make your website quickly accessible.
POWER SOURCE
All servers are connected to a redundant UPS power supply with 230 volts. In the event of a possible failure, battery operation can intercept the failure for approx. 10-15 minutes. During this time, the emergency power diesel generators run up for autonomous operation and ensure that the systems remain accessible even over a longer period of time in the event of a power failure.
FIRE PREVENTION
Automatic early fire detection directly alerts the local fire brigade. In addition, special door and locking systems are used for fire protection to ensure that a possible fire cannot spread further.
24 H MONITORING
The data centers are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Technicians are on site at all times to monitor the systems and network connections. In the worst case, immediate action can be taken. This ensures the optimal operation of your website, web server, email server and all services.
BACKUPS
For security reasons, our backup servers are stored in separate calculation sheets. This ensures that the backups can be backed up independently of the server.
ISO/IEC 27001 certified
The data centres are certified with the internationally recognised ISO 27001 standard. In the process, the information security management system (ISMS) was implemented and certified with the certificate according to ISO 27001. The certificate also confirms that the security of the data and the confidentiality of the information meet the security standard and are constantly improved and sustainably controlled.
