How to create a custom error page

If you have a domain that you no longer use and would like to create a custom error page, you’ve come to the right place.

Lock domain

If you lock a domain, it will not open in browsers and visitors will be redirected to a “503 Service Unavailable” error page.

The hosting and e-mail service are still active. If you would now like to create your own error page with a message, for example, you must first select the option “Custom error documents” in the hosting settings for your domain.

You can then click on the three dots next to your domain and select “Edit error page”. You can then easily write a message that will be displayed to website visitors.

Keep domain active

If you want to keep your domain active, you can simply create an index file and write the text in it.
