What is the ShopDesigner?

ShopDesigner is a tool that helps you sell products on your website.

Who is the shop intended for?

The shop is for those who want to take their first steps to sell goods online.

How many products can I sell in my ShopDesigner?

Unless you are on a product limited package, there is no fixed limit to the number of products you can sell.

How many products is the shop designer designed for?

Our design goal was to operate the ShopDesigner with up to 1,000 products. We have seen how some customers operate online shops with around 1,000 products and they perform well. In addition to 1,000 products, performance may be compromised depending on the hardware resources provided by your service provider.

Is the shop safe?

Yes, the ShopDesigner is very secure.

Can I sell downloads?

No, the shop is only for the sale of physical goods.

What happens when a customer buys an item?

When a customer makes a purchase, these things happen:

• You’ll get an e-mail from us.
• The customer receives an e-mail.
• A new order is displayed on the Manage Orders page.

Can I import products from a spreadsheet?

Yes, you can import products this way.

Can I export products to a spreadsheet?

No, the shop does not support this.

Can customers search for products in my shop?

Yes, the shop is searchable and you can help customers find things by adding tags to each product. A tag is a word a customer can search for.

Is there a limit to the number of product variants?

No, there is no fixed limit, but performance can be compromised if you have many products with many variations. For example, if you have a product with 3 sizes and 3 colors, the total number of variants is 3 x 3 = 9. If you have a product with 3 sizes, 3 colors, 3 designs and 3 surfaces, the total number of variants is 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 = 81. Each of these variations must be stored as if it were a product so that 10 products with 81 variations correspond to 10 x 81 = 810 individual products.

What payment methods can I use?

It is up to your service provider to select the payment methods to be provided on the Payment page.

Can I set different tax rates for different states and countries?

Yes.

How can I add different shipping options?

There is no fixed limit.
